◊ Waking the Intonarumori
Waking the Intonarumori is a weekly radio show featuring composed, improvised, and/or found avant musics. Something to amuse the aliens. Previously erring every Monday morning, 9:00-11:00 EST, on WCSB 89.3 FM in Cleveland... now available here on the web.
Latest News
WCSB is owned by Cleveland State University. For 49 years, programming was locally produced by students and community members, with an eclectic mix of rock, folk, jazz, experimental, hispanic, ethnic programming, and so much more. Unfortunately, on Oct. 3 2025 CSU opted to turn over programming operations to IdeaStream, the regional NPR affiliate, and they are now playing soft jazz 24/7. I am currently weighing several options for this show, which include moving the program to another station, or podcasting... but for now, here we are.
If you listen, PLEASE drop me a quick email at fluxmonk@gmail.com, just to let me know you're out there. This is probably a stop-gap solution, and your feedback is critical in determining next steps! I so appreciate your listening.
